Magnum Live Large project 2 #bestsubmissions

Ok in an effort to cover more than my usual mixtape mania I recently decided to cover the Magnum Live Large 2 project. I have to tell you that listening to over 400 submissions has put me on a fuck rappers kick. Now hold up before you get all tight at me for my opinion. I am simply saying I respect artist. I respect those individuals who put more than a simple effort into their submisssions. So when I think about picking an up and coming act to represnt a major brand the phrase total package comes to mind. Which brings me to the submissions I have picked as contenders in this contest. No disrespect to anyone left out these are just the videos that struck me as entertaining and professional. If anything these chosen individuals should make other aspiring acts wanna step their game up!

MAGNUM LIVE LARGE 2 PROJECT

Philthy Agenda is all about up and coming artist on the grind. So when I seen the video above for the Mangnum Live Large 2 Project I had to find a way to get involved. Not only am I promoting this contest (unofficialy), I plan on posting some of my favorite entries to the contest. For any emcee who is interested you still have time to film your entry to the contest. Since I am not getting paid to promote I will not be providing all the contest details (thats the videos job). I will let it be known that there a four beats available for this contest or you can spit your 16 acapella. To keep it all the way funky I downloaded all the beats to the contest and I was suprised the competition didn't have a better beat budget. Dont get me wrong I applaud Trojan for pushing the envelope while promoting there product. I just gotta be honest and say If I was working for the contest I would have picked 4 beats from 4 diff. up incoming HOT producers. Naw I dont know who did the beats but one thing is for sure... the tracks are luke warm (step ya game up bruh!the person who picked the beats and the person who made em even the group of folks who signed off on em step yo mfn game uuup! rah!) Aside from that this contest is still a good way for hot unknowns to get noticed and on the plus side if you can take those beats and make some dope shit, the game needs you. As far as prizes and other details head over to magnumlivelarge.com for the entire scoop. RAAAHHH!

Off top I gotta give a shout out to @2dopeboyz cause my usual mixtape sites havn't posted this joint yet (probably because they want everybody to come to their site and grab it.) None the less I gave it a good spin and I would expect nothing less from the Jet set. All of the production was done by @cookinsoul so it's def a special project. download link provided above

Not many instrumental projects fly under my radar although there are a few I wish that had. I know this joint is sure to have some top notch beats on it. Hell, I am still vibin to 1.0 so I am sure this will hold me down till the next batch.

@LxEfortheuncool - American Idol (Produced by J Rawls)

@LxEfortheuncool has one of the sickest work ethics and the quality in his bars is always consistent. The visual was done by @Chuck_You.
